Valemount is a small village nestled in three mountain ranges; the Rocky Mountains, the Monashee Mountains, and the Caribou Mountains. It has a population of 1195 people but many travelers come to Valemount, both in Winter and in Summer. In summer, many tour companies operate in Valemount. Visitors can do anything from whitewater or gentle raft trips, to guided tours around the wildlife sanctuary at the edge of the town. In Winter, snowmobilers come to Valemount for our mountains and powder snow. There are also several tour companies that have skiing packages available, including heli-skiing. . . . more |
