From it's humble beginnings as the Swift Creek Roadhouse in the early 1900s the Valemount Hotel has grown into a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Rebuilt in 1951 it has become a familiar sight for those travelling by rail through our "Valley in the Mountains." Valemount is surrounded by three mountain ranges, the Rockies to the northeast, the Cariboos to the west and the Monashees to the south providing spectacular scenery as well as great outdoor activities for all seasons.

The Valemount Hotel on Yellowhead Highway #5 is nestled in the heart of the Robson Valley between the Rockies and the Cariboo Mountains. We are located one hour and a half west of Jasper and three hours east of Prince George. Our hotel is nestled up against the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
